Structural Design Engineer – Makati (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join our multinational engineering and design firm’s Philippines office in Makati City. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday dayshift, and will start onsite during the probationary period before moving to a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare civil and structural drawings ensuring compliance with Australian and company standards.
• Develop and interpret 3D models and 2D detailed design drawings of structures.
• Produce preliminary and detailed design drawings that meet the project scope and parameters.
• Submit drawings on schedule and edit them for approval or fabrication.

Required profile

• Experience working to Australian Standards.
• Ability to design and self‑manage a small portfolio of projects.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and cutting‑edge design capabilities.
• Background in materials handling, process plant design, or mining sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑cloud data is an advantage.
• Excellent time‑management and communication skills, able to work independently or within diverse teams.
