Store Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

The Store Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medicines in a retail pharmacy setting. This role involves direct interaction with patients, coordination with corporate pharmacy teams, and maintaining compliance with regulatory inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the validity and accuracy of prescriptions before dispensing medication.
• Provide patient counseling and answer drug‑related queries.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Corporate Pharmacist.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reference books and ensure they are readily available.
• Monitor storage conditions, remove expired or damaged stock, and keep the medicine cabinet organized.
• Ensure all medicines are stored in good condition.
• Represent the store during FDA and PDEA inspections.
• Conduct training to keep store personnel informed about product updates and best practices.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist or license holder.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and a compressed work week (5 days on, 2 days off).
• Availability to work on holidays and weekends when needed.
• Open to relocation with allowance provided.
