Staff Nurse

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide frontline support to members, healthcare providers, and clients by answering inquiries about healthcare plans, benefits, and coverage. This position involves direct communication via phone, email, or chat and requires accurate documentation of all interactions. The role is onsite with rotating shift schedules, suitable for recent graduates with clinical internship experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to member and provider inquiries regarding healthcare plans, benefits, and coverage through phone, email, or chat.
• Verify eligibility, benefits, and policy information for members.
• Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and physicians to address member concerns.
• Assist in processing authorizations, referrals, and claims‑related questions.
• Document all customer interactions accurately in the system.
• Resolve complaints while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and data‑privacy standards.
• Escalate complex cases to the appropriate department.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Stay updated on healthcare policies, HMO products, and company procedures through continuous training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Graduate of a medical‑allied course (e.g., Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology).
• Completed a clinical internship with hands‑on experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work onsite and on shifting schedules.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
