About the role

The Sports & Recreation Manager will lead the Sports and Recreation department of Shangri‑La Mactan, ensuring seamless delivery of leisure activities for guests. This role combines operational oversight with guest‑focused service in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, coordinate, control and monitor all operations of the Sports and Recreation department.
• Design and implement a wide range of recreational programmes, including team‑building activities for guests.
• Drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth for the department’s cost centre.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and security for guests and staff during all sports and recreation activities.
• Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure integrated guest experiences.

Required profile

• Passionate hotelier who enjoys interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of the local language is a plus.
• Relevant experience with an international 5‑star hotel group preferred.
• Solution‑oriented, friendly, trustworthy leader with strong attention to detail.
• Guest‑focused, able to handle challenges confidently.
