Sourcing Specialist – Customer Requirements & Inventory Management

About the role
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are accurately captured, analysed and fulfilled. You will act as the bridge between customers and internal planning teams, supporting the entire order‑to‑delivery process.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and analyse customer requirements (EDI, purchase orders) using waterfall analysis.
- Manage demand during New Product Introduction (NPI) and coordinate with materials and production planning.
- Communicate demand forecasts and deviation analysis to customers.
- Confirm shipment plans and address invoice clarification requests.
- Propose corrective action plans for delivery delays.
- Analyse inventory exposure caused by sudden demand drops or project end‑of‑life.
- Manage consignment stock levels and oversee stock replenishment.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Material Sourcing Specialist.
