Sourcing Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

This role sits at the core of building and maintaining a reliable supply base that drives our retail growth. As a Sourcing Manager you will transform sourcing from a back‑office function into a strategic engine for commercial success in a fast‑moving e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes, from purchase orders through inbound, storage and outbound fulfillment.
• Monitor purchasing flows, resolve bottlenecks and ensure stock is ready to ship.
• Manage reverse logistics activities, including returns to suppliers, scrap/write‑off and re‑inbound to minimise obsolescence and fulfillment costs.
• Support commercial strategy by collaborating with logistics and operations to improve revenue, P&L performance and operational efficiency.
• Advise commercial teams on contractual terms related to supply chain and procurement.
• Partner with logistics and warehouse teams to align procurement with fulfillment and represent the retail function with suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Share best practices with regional and local sourcing teams, mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead or contribute to cross‑functional projects that generate measurable value for the retail business.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, solution‑oriented professional with strong analytical mindset.
• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain roles within a retail or e‑commerce setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively across commercial, logistics and operations functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of end‑to‑end procurement processes.
• Understanding of reverse logistics and stock management.
• Familiarity with commercial contract negotiation.
• Experience with cross‑functional project delivery.
