Sourcing Lead – Retail Operations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sourcing Lead to build and maintain a reliable, cost‑efficient supply base for our fast‑moving retail operations. You will drive negotiations, manage supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of products that meet cost, quality, and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier onboarding, negotiations, contract drafting, and performance management.
• Develop sourcing strategies that balance cost, timeliness, and flexibility.
• Partner with suppliers to deliver high service levels and resolve issues quickly.
• Drive cost‑saving and value‑creation initiatives while securing supply reliability.
• Collaborate with Buying, Business Operations, and Finance to forecast needs and align budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and ethical sourcing practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and driving performance.
• Understanding of supply continuity planning and risk management.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• SQL knowledge (optional but preferred).
