Software Engineer – Wireless Digital Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to lead and manage the end‑to‑end wireless digital delivery in the Philippines. The role combines system development, maintenance, KPI monitoring and continuous optimisation to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery that meets local regulations and ZTE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of the digital delivery system.
• Monitor KPIs, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and in compliance with regulations.
• Perform daily support, indicator tracking and rectification of the digital system.
• Conduct self‑tests, optimise system performance and develop tools to improve delivery efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Development or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and resourcefulness in addressing internal and external customer issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Tagalog and Chinese (advantageous).
• Ability to work under pressure, collaborate effectively and adapt to new technologies such as AI, Cursor or Open‑Claw.

Required skills

• Java programming, including network programming.
• Design and development of large‑scale distributed systems.
• Redis for caching and data‑store design.
• MySQL and Oracle database management, indexing and optimisation.
