Software Engineer – PrIME Platform

About the role

As a PrIME Platform Engineer on the PrIME Product Team, you will design and qualify the current and next‑generation PrIME warehouse management platform. The role supports P&G’s PrIME Expansion and Upgrade Masterplan, ensuring an open, extensible and secure architecture that meets evolving business and IT requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement new PrIME platform standards using modern operating systems and database technologies.
• Identify and drive innovation, optimisation and resilience opportunities for the WMS platform.
• Lead hands‑on proof‑of‑concepts and pilot emerging technologies.
• Maintain full compliance with IT security policies and patching standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, IT security, vendors and business stakeholders to define integration points and ensure seamless ecosystem alignment.
• Manage complex multi‑partner projects, communicating progress and challenges clearly.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation to accompany implementation work.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience with supply‑chain systems, specifically Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS implementations and upgrades (version 2020+).
• Proven ability to work on complex, highly automated warehouse environments.
• Strong project‑management capabilities and experience delivering multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
• Proactive learner with hands‑on problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS implementation expertise.
• Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and open‑source databases.
• Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS DB, App Services, Storage, Logic & Function Apps).
• Linux and Windows (PC & Server) operating systems.
• Programming languages: Python, C, PHP, VB, ABAP, MOCA.
• Enterprise architecture and integration design.
