Software Engineer

About the role

eTap Inc. is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join its growing FinTech team. You will work on developing, testing, and maintaining software that powers custom self‑service transaction machines and payment systems for telecoms, digital banks, and payment aggregators.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality software applications with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, QA, Infrastructure) to deliver solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Participate in architectural and technical design discussions to build scalable and reliable systems.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and help improve development processes.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and continuously improve the software stack.
