Software Engineer II – Java/Python/AI (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Software Engineer with strong Java and Python skills to develop backend services and AI‑enabled features. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work on data translation and visualization across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Python.
• Integrate AI and machine‑learning components, including LLMs and prompt‑engineering solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and implementation plans.
• Write clean, production‑ready code and participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes.
• Support data processing, analysis, and AI model integration.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Practical experience as a backend or AI/ML‑focused software engineer.
• Hands‑on development experience with Java and Python.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and consumption.
• Understanding of backend concepts such as service integration, error handling, and security basics.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
