Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a global leader in technology and e‑commerce. The role is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide. You will work on high‑traffic platforms, solving complex technical challenges while growing your engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New graduate or early‑career professional with strong programming fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
