Software Engineer / Developer – iOS (Hybrid, Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer/Developer to join our retail technology team. The role focuses on building and maintaining mobile applications in a hybrid environment, supporting both iOS and Android platforms while working on a flexible hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and release mobile and web applications aligned with business goals.
• Support the full application lifecycle, including API development and integration.
• Gather requirements, propose solutions, and collaborate with product and design teams.
• Adapt existing web applications for mobile use and ensure high performance and security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to project schedules, and continuously improve app functionality.
• Write unit and UI tests, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 2‑4 years of professional software‑development experience.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• Experience working in large, multi‑stakeholder teams.
• Exposure to cloud services and additional programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
