Social Media Specialist

About the role

Asiacruit is looking for a Social Media Specialist to create engaging content and support social media growth across relevant platforms. The role covers planning and publishing content, editing videos for digital channels and keeping a consistent brand voice. It combines social media management, content creation, video editing and performance tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, schedule and publish content across social media platforms
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns and other digital channels
• Create social media assets such as captions, graphics and video content in line with brand guidelines
• Develop content calendars and coordinate social media activities to support marketing goals
• Monitor comments, messages and community engagement, responding in a timely and professional way
• Track social media performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations
• Stay up to date with platform updates, trends and emerging content formats
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on campaign concepts and deliver content on schedule
• Organize and maintain social media content files, video assets and publishing materials

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in social media management, content creation, video editing or a related role
• Experience editing video content for social media platforms
• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube
• Strong writing, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create engaging content while keeping a consistent brand voice
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
• Creativity, attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks and deadlines
• A portfolio or examples of social media and video work is an advantage
