Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager will join Loud Local’s Davao office to lead the planning, creation and scheduling of content across the brand’s key social platforms. This full‑time position ensures a consistent brand voice and visual identity while driving audience engagement and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain social media calendars aligned with marketing campaigns.
• Create, edit and publish posts, graphics and short‑form videos for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
• Monitor community interactions, respond to comments and messages, and foster engagement.
• Analyse performance metrics, generate regular reports and optimise content based on data insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social content supports broader marketing initiatives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, trends and best practices in social media marketing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing brand accounts across multiple social platforms.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, brand‑aligned copy.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfort working on‑site in Davao and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant background in digital marketing, communications or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniques.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
• Basic graphic editing tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
• Basic video editing tools for short‑form content (e.g., Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot).
