Social Media Manager (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Social Media Manager to join our team for a 1‑2 month project in Manila. You will work closely with IIG’s Editorial & Strategy hub, data analysts, social creatives, community managers, and the Health Care Brand’s marketing team to shape and execute social strategies that drive reach, engagement, and audience growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Digital Strategist/Planner in creating monthly content calendars and conceptualising social campaigns across platforms.
• Define and execute platform‑specific social media strategies (Meta, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
• Plan and schedule posts at optimal times to maximise reach and engagement.
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports, analysing data to inform continuous KPI improvement.
• Monitor emerging social trends, new platforms and audience behaviours, providing strategic recommendations.
• Handle negative feedback or crises promptly to protect brand reputation.
• Use real‑time data and A/B testing to optimise content performance during publishing.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media strategy, planning and execution.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Comfortable presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing crisis situations on social platforms.
