Social Media Graphic Designer (Remote)

About the role

Kraken, a UK‑based social media management agency, is looking for a Social Media Graphic Designer to create eye‑catching visual content for its diverse client base. Working remotely, you will translate brand guidelines into scroll‑stopping posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Design approximately 20 branded social media posts per client each month across multiple platforms.
• Adapt brand guidelines, colour palettes and visual styles to each client’s identity.
• Collaborate with account managers to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback and deliver revisions quickly.
• Maintain visual consistency while ensuring each post is attention‑grabbing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with design trends, platform specifications and best practices.
• Organise design files and assets for multiple client accounts.
• Contribute creative ideas to overall content strategies when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing social media graphics for various industries.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media content.
• Ability to manage several client accounts simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
• Fast turnaround skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication in English.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Familiarity with Figma (provided).
• Experience with video/Reel design or motion graphics (nice to have).
• Knowledge of social media scheduling tools and platform performance factors.
