SOC Team Lead – Incident Response (L2)

About the role

Join Accenture’s Cybersecurity team as a SOC Team Lead (L2) and drive the detection, investigation, and response to advanced security threats. You will lead analysts, coordinate high‑severity incidents, and continuously improve SOC processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of complex security incidents escalated by L1 analysts.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, threat validation, and incident triage across enterprise environments.
• Coordinate response during high‑severity incidents with CSIRT, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
• Conduct threat‑hunting activities using IoCs and threat intelligence.
• Mentor SOC analysts through coaching, quality reviews, and best‑practice guidance.
• Collaborate with detection engineering to enhance use cases, alert quality, and SOC processes.
• Maintain incident documentation, reports, playbooks, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in a SOC, Incident Response, or Cyber Defense environment.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring SOC analysts.
• Strong hands‑on ability to investigate incidents using SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Ability to work effectively during high‑priority incidents and coordinate cross‑functional response efforts.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, Google SecOps.
• CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Python and PowerShell scripting for automation and investigations.
• Threat hunting, malware analysis, incident response, and network security.
• Log and network traffic analysis across enterprise environments.
• Cloud security monitoring on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
