SOC Analyst / Cyber Defense Specialist

About the role

Join DXC Technology as a SOC Analyst/Cyber Defense Specialist to support security assessments, monitor incidents, and contribute to the implementation of security policies in a dynamic, digital transformation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, and help generate reports and action items.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as required and assisting in containment.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigations and reporting.
• Collaborate with the security team on documentation, process improvement, and security awareness training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 1 year in a similar SOC role.
• Continuous learner who stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology.

Required skills

• Proven experience in information security analysis.
• Proficiency in security technologies and risk assessment.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
