Site Operations Lead – Power Generation

About the role

As a Site Operations Lead you will head the on‑site production team responsible for delivering reliable power to customers. You will ensure equipment availability, performance and compliance with OEM recommendations, safety standards and client load demands.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers and related equipment to guarantee continuous power supply.
• Enforce QHSE policies and procedures on‑site, including LOTO, ESR, lifting, tool calibration and PPE compliance.
• Allocate daily tasks for the Production Team according to the monthly shift plan and client load forecasts.
• Attend meetings with customer operations teams and provide advance notifications when capacity may fall short.
• Monitor site and asset alarms, support incident resolution and coordinate with Maintenance for oil‑sample analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform first‑line performance analysis, optimise asset availability and manpower allocation.
• Maintain accurate production data, manage inventory and uphold 5S/OPOS standards.
• Induct, coach and develop team members.

Required profile

• Licensed PRC Electrical Engineer (REE) with at least 3 years experience in power‑project environments.
• Familiarity with Aggreko electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear and NET.
• Ability to read single‑line diagrams, P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook).
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure.
