Site Operations Lead – Catanduanes Project

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a Site Operations Lead to manage on‑site production activities for its Catanduanes project. You will supervise a team that ensures equipment availability, reliability and performance in line with OEM recommendations, safety standards and client load demands.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers and related equipment to guarantee continuous power supply.
• Enforce all QHSE policies and procedures (LOTO, ESR, lifting, tool calibration, spill prevention, PPE, etc.).
• Assign daily production tasks according to shift plans and closely track client load requirements.
• Participate in meetings with customer operations teams and provide advance notice of any capacity shortfalls.
• Respond to site and asset alarms, support incident resolution and coordinate with maintenance for oil‑sample analysis.
• Conduct first‑line performance analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the site team to optimise asset availability, condition, performance and manpower allocation.
• Maintain accurate production data, manage inventory efficiently and uphold 5S/OPOS standards.
• Induct, coach and develop team members.

Required profile

• PRC‑licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a power‑project environment or a similar role.
• Ability to read single‑line electrical diagrams, P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plant equipment operations and safe operating procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent English communication, leadership and analytical skills.
