Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and delivering excellent customer service. This position is based in Daet and focuses on vault management, ATM cash levels, and tellering functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault, ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, internal policies, and external regulatory rules.
• Analyze service tasks to increase deposits, fees, and revenue through cross‑selling and other business initiatives.
• Manage risk by identifying and eliminating errors, lapses, or irregularities that could cause reputational or financial loss.
• Maintain high service standards by providing fast, error‑free processing for total client satisfaction.
• Oversee productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, policies, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• At least a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry‑related field.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle stressful situations while meeting deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a bank is an advantage.
