Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring strict compliance with bank policies, BSP/AMLA regulations and other external rules. The role focuses on vault and ATM cash management, teller functions and delivering excellent customer service to achieve total client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager in overseeing vault/ATM cash levels, vault operations and teller activities.
• Ensure branch compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees and revenue from bank products, including cross‑selling and referrals.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, eliminating errors, lapses or irregularities that could cause reputational or financial loss.
• Maintain productivity and administrative standards within set guidelines, budgets and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• Graduate with a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry related field.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to work under pressure, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
