Senior Test Engineer, Product Development

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Senior Test Engineer in its Product Development team in Cavite, Philippines. You will design, develop and implement cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment across all phases of product development and manufacturing. With minimal guidance, you will lead the preparation of test and diagnostic programs, design advanced test fixtures and equipment, and develop specifications and procedures for new products, while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and methodologies across multiple product lines, ensuring optimal test coverage and efficiency.
• Develop diagnostic testing programs that identify complex performance issues throughout product development.
• Design and oversee the development of advanced test fixtures and equipment that measure and validate product specifications under demanding conditions.
• Create and standardize test setups and procedures so devices comply with industry and company standards, optimized for cost and efficiency.
• Independently plan labor, schedules and equipment allocation across multiple projects.
• Resolve complex technical issues and lead troubleshooting efforts, mentoring junior engineers.
• Develop and optimize testing processes that exceed quality standards, and lead qualification testing for multiple product lines.
• Lead the design and manufacture of complex PCBs for test setups and evaluation boards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in test engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Ability to travel about 10% of the time; normal working hours in the Philippines.
