Senior Supply Planning Analyst – Finished Goods

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Supply Planning (Finished Goods) is responsible for optimizing inventory balance across the supply‑chain network while meeting target customer‑service levels, forecast accuracy, and safety‑stock targets for assigned SKUs.

Key responsibilities

• Determine policies and regularly review safety‑stock and inventory levels.
• Optimize inventory parameters such as reorder points, safety stock, and ABC categorisation.
• Place orders based on agreed lead‑times and volume parameters.
• Maintain quality and updates to Material Master Data.
• Define and manage supply policies including Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators.
• Prepare and support gap‑resolution work for Sales & Operations Planning meetings.
• Quarterly review of safety‑stock settings and ABC categorisation.
• Analyse out‑of‑stock situations and define corrective actions to meet service‑level targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related business field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in supply or demand planning.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end planning processes.
• Process‑improvement mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• System knowledge of SAP ECC/APO.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
