Senior Software Developer

About the role

Amex GBT is looking for a senior application developer to join a specialty development team in Manila. You will design, build, and modernize .NET‑based software and web applications while supporting data‑integration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET and C# applications, ensuring clean, well‑documented code.
• Modernize legacy systems to contemporary Microsoft technologies and participate in design and code reviews.
• Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
• Support automated data ingestion processes, handling CSV, JSON, XML and FTP/SFTP feeds.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and estimate timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with C#/.NET and SQL Server.
• Strong OOP knowledge, design‑pattern awareness, and experience with ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms and version‑control systems (Git).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
