Senior React Native Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer to join Saphyroo’s transport and physical‑analytics platform. You will lead the creation of a component‑driven design system, integrate real‑time AI streams, and mentor the mobile team while delivering fast, weekly iterations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and version reusable UI packages in a monorepo using Turborepo/Lerna and design tokens.
• Consume live WebSocket or MQTT feeds, create alert components with throttling and de‑duplication.
• Implement Mapbox and Google Maps overlays and real‑time data visualisations with Recharts or D3.
• Apply code‑splitting, lazy‑loading and Sentry monitoring to optimise performance and observability.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, manage linting, Jest, RTL, Playwright, visual regression (Chromatic/Percy), and automate semantic releases and OTA updates via EAS.
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML and backend teams to define data subscriptions and UX patterns.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Hooks, Context API or Redux, and Expo/EAS for development and OTA releases.
• Proven experience delivering component‑driven libraries in a monorepo with semantic versioning.
• Hands‑on integration of WebSocket or MQTT streams and mapping APIs (Mapbox GL JS or Google Maps JavaScript).
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, bundle analysis and front‑end monitoring.
• Expertise in setting up CI/CD for front‑end projects using GitHub Actions and related testing tools.
