Senior Project Manager, Wind Construction

About the role

The Senior Project Manager, Wind Construction will lead the delivery of on‑shore wind farm projects, ensuring they meet Vena’s standards from tendering through to final hand‑over. This role requires a seasoned professional who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Key responsibilities

• Initiating – Participate in tendering and contracting processes and designate the Operating Entity (OE).
• Planning – Secure Vena’s interests in the planning of TSA and BOP activities.
• Executing – Ensure projects are implemented according to Vena’s requirements, facilitate issue resolution, and lead the project team including the OE through changes.
• Monitoring and Controlling – Track project progress, manage budgets, ensure key milestones are achieved, and compare actual performance against the schedule.
• Closing – Work with contractors to confirm project delivery, review third‑party vendor performance, and archive project documentation.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in on‑shore wind farm project management.
• Strong understanding of wind technology, turbine systems, grid connection, and operations.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• High cultural sensitivity and capability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid grasp of project management methodologies.
• Fluency in English.
