Senior Project Manager – Japanese Bilingual (Philippines)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is fluent in Japanese to lead large‑scale technology projects for our international recruitment initiative. The role will be based in the Philippines and involves overseeing end‑to‑end delivery for enterprise‑level system development and application support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams through the full lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and post‑implementation support.
• Manage enterprise‑level system development and application support projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Coordinate internal teams, clients, and external service providers to guarantee smooth execution.
• Handle stakeholder communication, escalation processes, and contractual obligations.
• Plan workforce resources, allocate project staff, and monitor budgets and operational costs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and provide status reports to management.
• Provide leadership to regional and offshore teams while maintaining strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project management, preferably with enterprise application projects.
• Fluent Japanese (speaking, reading, writing) and ability to perform English‑Japanese translation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
• JLPT N1‑N3 certification is advantageous.
• Experience managing multi‑vendor projects is beneficial.
• Willingness to work according to a client‑based schedule.
