Senior Project Associate – Migration Health

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate to support migration‑health programming in Mindanao, Philippines. Working under the Head of Sub‑Office in Cotabato, the role will focus on rehabilitating health infrastructure and improving health‑information and communication technology (ICT) across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and Region IX.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of activities that rehabilitate and upgrade health facilities and operational centres.
• Oversee the installation of medical equipment and health‑ICT systems in line with project workplans.
• Provide orientation, coaching and mentoring on the sustainable use, routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of newly installed equipment.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing detailed, achievable field‑level workplans and activity schedules.
• Coordinate closely with the Department of Health, Ministry of Health (BARMM) and local provincial/city authorities to ensure compliance with national and international standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting health‑infrastructure projects in a humanitarian or development context.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies and local partners.
• Strong organizational skills for planning, monitoring and reporting on field activities.
