Senior Project Associate (Health) – Roster

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is establishing a roster of qualified Senior Project Associates in Health to support surge staffing needs during disasters, emergencies and humanitarian response operations in the Philippines. This position is not tied to an immediate deployment; candidates will be called upon when operational requirements arise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health‑related project support during emergency response missions, including planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate with governmental, intergovernmental and non‑governmental partners to ensure effective delivery of health services.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documents, situation reports and funding proposals.
• Ensure compliance with IOM policies, UN standards and local regulations.
• Maintain readiness to mobilize quickly, complete onboarding and administrative procedures within prescribed timeframes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with demonstrable experience in health within emergency response contexts.
• Ability to be locally available in the Philippines and to deploy on short notice.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian health interventions and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent written communication skills for preparing reports and documentation.
