Senior Network Engineer

About the role

RingCentral is looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Manila to design, implement and operate the Global RingCentral Corporate Networks so that they run within their design specifications. The engineer produces architectural design recommendations for upgrades, collects and analyzes operational and performance statistics, and acts as the top escalation point for critical network issues, providing advanced technical support and training to other network team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex, efficiently operable networks supporting real-time protocols
• Act as subject matter and policy expert, continuously identifying new technologies and methodologies
• Engage vendors and operate the corporate network environment
• Manage capacity and performance of existing infrastructure
• Execute routine changes, provisioning services and deployments
• Perform fault isolation, service recovery and incident analysis
• Provide Level 3 technical support to global IT teams and take part in 24x7 on-call rotations
• Develop standards, procedures and documentation
• Train and direct other network engineers and administrators

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, network design and global operations
• Experience with multi-vendor hardware and software environments (Juniper, Cisco, Mist, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cato, Zscaler) preferred
• Hands-on AWS and GCP architecture deployment for new site expansions
• Troubleshooting complex networks and applications
• Knowledge of Linux, RFC and ISO standards, SLAs and change management
• Willingness to work night shifts and a hybrid setup (10-11 days in the office per month, Cubao or Ortigas)
