Senior Mortgage Associate / Credit Analyst (Mercury CRM)
D2B · Manila
Job description
About the role
D2B is looking for a Senior Mortgage Associate / Credit Analyst who owns the mortgage pipeline end to end, from initial lead through to lodgement, without being task-managed. The role sits close to Strategist level: deep credit knowledge, independent compliance and proposal work, and the judgment that keeps files clean and moving. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise internally with brokers, strategists and the support team, and externally with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers and referral partners.
- Own the Mercury CRM pipeline: accurate notes, task tracking and stage progression, and know every file's status at all times.
- Set up new files, enter data accurately and keep folders and naming conventions to company standards.
- Lead follow-ups (Day 4, 7, 10), document collection, Equifax and PropertyHub reports, and pre-review notes.
- Complete the full review stage independently: income assessment (PAYG and complex), bank statement review via CashDeck, salary packaging, rental income, funding position, Quickli serviceability and review notes.
- Hand files to the broker fully prepped for the first appointment and take them back after the recommendation.
- Build the proposal package: servicing calculator, pricing, BID/NCCP compliance, AOL setup, credit notes, lender checklist and compliance docs.
- Identify missing documents early, lodge applications via AOL, order and track valuations, and manage pre-approval conditions.
- Follow up with lenders, solicitors and conveyancers, monitor conditions and deadlines, and keep status notes current.
- Own the client relationship during processing, write post-appointment summaries, and conduct annual reviews after settlement.
Required profile
- 4 to 5+ years of experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry in a senior processing, credit or associate role.
- Hands-on experience preparing and lodging SMSF, complex self-employed and trust structure loan applications.
- Ability to read credit files and work serviceability levers across multiple lenders.
- Proven ability to own a pipeline independently, with excellent file discipline and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Outlook, Mercury CRM (Connective), ApplyOnline (AOL), Quickli and Microsoft Teams (non-negotiable)
- BID, NCCP and responsible lending compliance
- PREFERRED: Strategist-level credit depth, multi-property investment and construction lending familiarity, Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, and mentoring experience
