Senior Manager, Wind Construction

About the role

The Senior Manager, Wind Construction will lead the full execution of on‑shore wind farm projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, HSSE and quality standards. This role represents the company on‑site and coordinates all technical, commercial and operational interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site execution of wind projects, overseeing civil works, turbine installation, electrical systems and balance‑of‑plant activities.
• Review and comment on contractor technical documents, drawings, method statements and test procedures for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical and engineering support throughout design, construction, installation and commissioning phases.
• Manage project schedules, contracts (OE, EPC, BoP, suppliers, logistics) and coordinate with internal teams such as Development, Land Acquisition and HSSE.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction, technical, commercial and HSSE risks.
• Implement quality management plans, inspection test plans and QA/QC procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and lead issue resolution, change management and contract close‑out.
• Oversee handover to Operations, ensuring readiness for commissioning and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in on‑shore wind farm project management.
• Strong understanding of wind technology, turbine systems, grid connection and operations.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• High cultural sensitivity and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Fluency in English.
