Senior Manager, Wind Construction (Contracts Management)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Wind Construction (Contracts Management) will support the delivery of utility‑scale wind projects by preparing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with EPC contractors and vendors. The role is pivotal in managing schedules, budgets, permits, and documentation to achieve timely and compliant project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts together with technical and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with local and international legal requirements and maintain organized negotiation records.
• Support permitting and jurisdictional approvals for construction phases.
• Review and manage EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans, and permit compliance.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to meet contract terms, budget, and timeline.
• Prepare legal letters and notices with accuracy and contractual law knowledge.
• Participate in on‑site inspections to verify quality control and safe construction practices.
• Lead project status update meetings with utilities, EPCs, off‑takers, and finance stakeholders.
• Manage and organize all project documentation using the project‑specific SharePoint structure.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in EPC contract management and negotiation for utility‑scale renewable energy or power projects.
• Engineering or business‑related educational background.
• FIDIC certification or equivalent contract‑management training.
• Strong knowledge of EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements.
• Familiarity with utility‑scale wind and solar projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
