Senior Management Accountant (Xero Experienced)

About the role

D2B is seeking a full-time Senior Management Accountant to join its team as an offshore professional based in the Philippines. The role is strategic and covers the full finance function: revenue, cost and resource forecasting, quarterly and long-range forecasting, and business intelligence reporting for the Australian leadership team. It sits between Procore (project management) and Xero (accounting), and the company is still new, so the role owner will help build the finance systems from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Bookkeeping, payroll and transactional finance: accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, BAS/GST returns and payroll compliance (PAYG, superannuation, WorkCover).
• Monthly business reporting: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, executive performance report, budget variance analysis and project-level reporting.
• Quarterly forecasting: revenue, costs, resources and cash, with a rolling 12- and 24-month model and risk scenarios.
• Revenue forecasting by project, contract and segment, aligned to percentage-of-completion and milestone billing.
• Cost forecasting: labour, materials, subcontractors, overheads, WIP schedules and cost variance analysis.
• Resource forecasting: staffing, subcontractor capacity and headcount planning.
• Strategic planning support: growth scenarios, tendering and capital allocation models, board reporting and commercial analysis.
• Project accounting: job costing, margin analysis, progress billing and claims management.
• Cash flow and working capital monitoring, and banking and financing reporting.
• Procore-Xero integration: data flow, troubleshooting, data governance and training project managers.
• Finance systems ownership: controls, policies, automation and liaison with external accountants and auditors.

Required profile

• CPA or CA qualified (or equivalent international qualification).
• 7-12 years of management accounting experience, ideally in construction, infrastructure, energy or project-based businesses.
• At least 3 years of Xero experience.
• Proven quarterly and annual forecasting experience, and strong project accounting background.
• Experience producing board-level reports and supporting strategic planning and financial modelling.

What we offer

• Salary of PHP 120,000 to PHP 190,000 per month depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Australian Standard Time, with Australian holidays.
