About the role
Manila Water is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead special projects and provide comprehensive legal support across the organization. The role involves advising senior management on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and commercial matters.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal opinions on labor, management, and other business issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
- Manage litigation matters, including court appearances and interactions with government agencies.
- Represent the company before regulators, judicial bodies, and legislative entities.
- Support risk management by identifying, mitigating, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Licensed lawyer with at least 7 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a publicly listed company.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
