Senior JavaScript / React Developer (HubSpot)

About the role

D2B is looking for a Senior JavaScript / React Developer to join its team remotely. This is a hands-on development role centred on strong JavaScript and React fundamentals; HubSpot-specific experience is valued but secondary to core coding ability. The candidate designs and builds Content Hub modules, themes and templates from Figma files and Asana briefs, working alongside a backend developer to deliver frontend functionality for eCommerce, checkout flows and membership self-service within the HubSpot ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Content Hub modules, themes and templates from Figma design files and development notes in Asana
• Build dynamic pages powered by HubDB tables so content is accurately structured and rendered
• Collaborate with the backend developer on eCommerce, checkout flows and membership self-service features
• Apply responsive design principles and SEO best practices
• Review AI-generated and team code critically, and QA your own work before handoff
• Document work accurately and track time across projects, flagging risks early
• Stay current with HubSpot platform capabilities, React patterns and frontend best practices, and help improve code quality standards

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in front-end web development
• 3+ years customising and implementing websites and functionality in HubSpot Content Hub
• Current HubSpot Content Hub Developer certification
• Advanced experience with HubSpot Themes, Templates, Modules and HubDB, and understanding of HubSpot's object structure, associations, fields and custom objects
• Experience in an agency environment with cross-functional teams

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a fixed start time and nine hours of work per day. Salary is NZD 2,500 to 4,500 per month depending on skills and experience.
