Senior IT Operations Engineer

About the role

The Senior IT Operations Engineer ensures the stable and secure operation of the company’s IT infrastructure across office and factory sites. This hands‑on role focuses on daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of networks, servers, and virtualisation platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, wireless access points and routers; manage LAN, WAN, Internet, VPN and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Support network security policies, access control, device hardening and routine change activities.
• Administer VMware environments and Windows/Linux servers, including installation, patching, updates, account management and service monitoring.
• Perform backup verification, log review, system health checks and recovery operations.
• Maintain core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, file and application services.
• Provide on‑site support for endpoints, network access and system connectivity in both office and production environments.
• Analyse incidents, isolate issues, and coordinate escalations, equipment replacements and maintenance windows.
• Document device inventories, configuration records, incident reports and standard operating procedures in line with ISO requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system operations or network administration.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with firewalls and network switches.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with VMware, Windows Server and Linux server operations.
