Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Bridgit is a non-bank lender helping Australians access property equity through a digital application, fast approvals and flexible loan options. It is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong NodeJS/NestJS and ReactJS or VueJS experience to help build its digital loan systems. The role sits in a fast-paced, high-potential fintech business.

Key responsibilities

• Own solutions from design and documentation through coding, deployment and testing.
• Communicate progress, priorities and blockers across engineering, product and operations teams.
• Write optimised ReactJS / VueJS, moving to a monorepo, and clean, secure RESTful APIs with TypeScript Node.js in the NestJS framework.
• Design databases with PostgreSQL using Sequelize.
• Influence system architecture and the future direction of the products.
• Scope and define technical requirements for new products and features, and follow software development and deployment processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years as a Full Stack developer.
• 2+ years of commercial experience with ReactJS or VueJS and NodeJS.
• Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills and attention to detail in documentation and ticket descriptions.
• Outstanding communication skills.
