Senior Financial Business Partner – APAC (Rental Industry)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Business Partner to support our APAC operations in the rental industry, providing financial insight and driving cost‑efficiency for our global road‑trip platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial data, analysis, and insights to support business decision‑making across APAC operations.
• Establish and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks focused on fleet and operational cost centres.
• Drive cost‑control and cost‑saving initiatives by analysing spend, identifying inefficiencies, and partnering with Operations and Strategy teams.
• Own end‑to‑end budget cycles, including planning, forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Strategy to align financial workflows and ensure data accuracy.
• Review and approve purchase orders and invoices to ensure compliance with budgets and forecasts.
• Build trusted reporting structures that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and take timely action.
• Ensure budget execution aligns with quarterly forecasts and proactively address deviations.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in finance, business controlling, or audit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in companies with physical or operational environments (service‑based operations).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Proficiency with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Looker.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, planning, and financial reporting systems.
