Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead financial planning, analysis, and controlling activities for DHL Supply Chain in the region. This role partners with business units to deliver accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ESG KPI management while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate month‑end close reports, prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and fixed‑asset statements for multiple stakeholders.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, develop guidelines, consolidate inputs and support integrated business planning (IBP).
• Perform monthly forecasting, scenario planning, sensitivity analyses and CAPEX planning, loading data into the finance system.
• Ensure timely ESG KPI reporting, coordinate with cross‑functional teams and support related budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting for global, regional and business development needs.
• Support internal and external audits with required financial inputs.
• Produce and review Business Case Analyses (BCAs), conduct buy‑vs‑lease analyses and manage investment tool data.
• Track project costs, forecast expenses, safeguard scope and budget, and drive functional overhead cost transparency.
• Oversee investment controlling, BCA reviews and PRB approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with contract life‑cycle, O2D processes and internal controls, and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in financial planning, analysis, budgeting and controlling within a large, multinational organization.
• Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting, ESG KPI reporting and audit support.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across finance and operational functions.
