Senior Executive Search Consultant (Project‑Based, Remote)

About the role

Development Guild is seeking a senior executive‑search professional to lead high‑impact, project‑based search engagements for mission‑driven nonprofit clients. The role is fully remote and involves partnering closely with organizations to identify and recruit talent that drives meaningful change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end executive search projects, from client strategy to candidate placement.
• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and high‑quality service.
• Design and execute research, sourcing, and outreach strategies to build diverse candidate pools.
• Screen, interview, assess, and present candidates with thoughtful evaluations.
• Contribute to business development and maintain a sales portfolio of existing and new clients.
• Represent Development Guild at conferences, webinars, and other public‑facing events.
• Uphold best practices in equity‑focused executive search and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full‑cycle executive search assignments, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of delivering high‑impact results.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and conferences.
