Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

RTX (Collins Aerospace) is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to advanced aerospace and defense projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, model, and validate interior electrical systems and components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced modeling and drafting according to company standards.
• Design and analyze interior systems and components in collaboration with system engineers.
• Conduct system safety analyses, including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and supply‑chain groups to meet cost and weight targets.
• Participate in product validation using various engineering methods.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience in a design organization producing component‑level designs and R&D.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD/CATIA V5, NX, or other complex CAD software.
• Experience in electrical design.
