Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud & Automation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will own end‑to‑end DevOps initiatives, from architecture through production deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex DevOps projects across infrastructure, automation, and application delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient, and cost‑optimized Azure architectures.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and Bicep.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Automate workflows with PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripts.
• Drive cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong background in Microsoft Azure and cloud‑native environments.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure cloud architectures.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
