Job description

About the role

D2B is hiring a Senior Credit Analyst in Manila, working 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Philippine time. The analyst supports mortgage brokers by managing the end-to-end loan processing cycle: collecting client documents, doing the initial credit pre-assessment, creating credit proposals, preparing and submitting loan applications, and liaising with brokers, clients, lenders and referral partners so that compliance and documentation requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaise internally with Directors, mortgage brokers and the broker support team, and externally with clients, lenders, banks, solicitors, conveyancers, referral partners and real estate agents.
  • Prepare, review and submit loan applications accurately and on time using the submission checklist and company standardised processes.
  • Verify client information and documentation against lender requirements and compliance standards, and track application progress with lenders and partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients from pre-assessment to settlement, giving personalised guidance on mortgage options, explaining terms, interest rates and repayment plans, and guiding clients through document collection.
  • Ensure applications meet regulatory, lender and company compliance standards, keep accurate records of client interactions in the CRM, and keep client data correctly filed in the database.
  • Build relationships with clients and partners, provide ongoing support, and complete annual post-settlement product interest rate reviews.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and attend lender training, and obtain the necessary licences and certifications.
  • Work closely with brokers, raise concerns on files in progress, give feedback on process improvements, and take part in team meetings and training.

Required profile

  • Solid 5 years of experience in credit analysis within the Australian mortgage broking industry.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage, asset finance, personal loan and business/commercial loan products and processes.
  • Experience in loan processing, financial services or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, communication skills and time management.
  • Preferred: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent, and previous experience in a mortgage broking firm or lending institution.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and loan submission platforms.
  • Experience with Mercury CRM (essential) and Microsoft.
