Senior Consultant – LNG & LNG‑to‑Power Projects

About the role

AFRY is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join its interconnected energy team in Southeast Asia. You will provide technical advisory and consultancy services across the full project development lifecycle for LNG import terminals, floating storage‑regasification units (FSRU), and LNG‑to‑Power schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to feasibility studies, option assessments and technical due‑diligence assignments for on‑shore and floating LNG facilities.
• Develop concept studies, evaluate technical alternatives, and assess project risks, CAPEX and OPEX.
• Prepare high‑quality consultancy reports, proposals and decision papers for clients, investors, lenders and developers.
• Coordinate interfaces between LNG infrastructure and power‑generation assets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemical, Process, Energy Engineering or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 6–10 years of consultancy experience in LNG import terminals, FSRU/FSU, LNG‑to‑Power or broader energy sectors.
• Proven track record delivering feasibility studies, concept studies and technical due‑diligence reports.
• Strong ability to evaluate on‑shore and floating LNG terminal concepts and associated systems.
