Senior Collections Analyst (French) – Global Accounts Receivable

About the role

As a Senior Collections Analyst, you will support Amazon’s strategic customers by identifying and resolving billing issues, reconciling accounts and driving monthly collection targets. The role requires strong cross‑functional relationships, attention to detail and the ability to improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer receivables to maximize Amazon’s cash flow.
• Perform full‑cycle accounts receivable activities for past‑due balances, including research, analysis and reconciliations.
• Contact customers, schedule resolution sessions and understand procure‑to‑pay cycles.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate receivables.
• Handle internal and external AR inquiries.
• Maintain customer relationships by responding promptly to internal and vendor questions.
• Provide guidance on Amazon billing processes, identify defects and drive upstream resolution.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer for top‑tier customers and sales teams, reporting improvement areas.
• Analyze trends, suggest process improvements and communicate solutions to leadership.
• Keep detailed notes, create tasks and reminders in collections tools.
• Escalate issues to manager or senior leaders when appropriate.
• Perform other projects and duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of finance & accounting experience in a large, customer‑oriented corporate environment.
• Native or fluent French language proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet shifting schedules, including EMEA mid‑shift and occasional overtime.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, detail‑oriented and adaptable.
