Senior Buyer – Indirect Procurement

About the role

The Senior Buyer will lead the procurement of indirect materials—including spare parts, maintenance supplies, CAPEX items and professional services—for all URC sites. You will work closely with manufacturing, logistics and quality teams to ensure timely availability of goods while driving cost efficiency and compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities and risks.
• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect procurement.
• Manage contracts and purchase orders, including CAPEX PO monitoring.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve volume consolidation, cost reductions and service improvements.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and digital initiatives in the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process.
• Promote adoption of procurement technologies such as SAP to increase visibility and streamline workflows.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food‑production environments.
• At least 3 years managing indirect categories such as spare parts, maintenance supplies, CAPEX and professional services.
• Proven record of delivering procurement savings and process improvements.
• Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of the Procure‑to‑Pay cycle and procurement governance.
