Senior Architectural Designer (ArchiCAD / BIM) – Remote

About the role

The Senior Architectural Designer will lead the production and coordination of architectural documentation across all project stages for complex mixed‑use and large‑scale residential developments. Working remotely, you will collaborate with project architects, associates and external consultants to ensure high‑quality, integrated design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate architectural documentation from feasibility through construction documentation.
• Utilise 3D BIM software (primarily ArchiCAD) to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with Project Architects, Associates and Senior Associates to develop design concepts.
• Liaise with structural and services consultants to ensure fully integrated design solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction documentation packages, including concrete profiles, façade detailing, window schedules, plan and section detailing, and external building works.
• Manage drawing packages and digital files, uploading/downloading via web‑based platforms.
• Review drawings for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure deliverables align with project timelines and milestones.
• Participate in project progression meetings, contributing ideas and solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in architectural practice.
• Strong experience delivering construction documentation packages beyond early‑stage design.
• Proven experience on complex mixed‑use developments and large‑scale residential projects (300–1,000 apartments), including retail and multi‑residential towers.
• Exposure to commercial fit‑outs and interior set‑fittings.
• Solid coordination skills with structural and building services consultants.
• In‑depth knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
